Tu sais comment les Grecs ont baptisé ce pétillement de l’être ? Enthousiasme. Parait-il , cela veut dire : exaltation produite par l’inspiration divine. C’est le Dieu intérieur. On ne lui prête guère d’attention parce qu’il se fait tout petit-petit, et que bien souvent il y a un vantard au-dedans de soi qui lui prend la parole, et qui s’appelle le MOI. Voilà, voilà.

Do you know what the Greeks called this sparkling of the soul? Enthusiasm. Apparently, it means: exaltation produced by divine inspiration. It's the God within. We hardly pay it any attention, because it makes itself very, very small, and quite often there's a braggart inside us who speaks up in its place, and whose name is the SELF (the "I"). There you go, there you go.
